About Whiskey Library
Great Whiskey Is Great Whiskey. Our Job Is Finding It.
Whiskey Library is a bourbon club and bottle shop. We find craft whiskey you would never have come across, and put it in your hands.
Our story
Whiskey Library Started Behind A Liquor Store Counter.
Co-founder Arnav Sawant's family has owned a liquor store for ten years, and he kept seeing the same thing: people chasing the same few allocated bottles and paying 200 to 300% markups for them, while great whiskey from smaller makers went undiscovered.
So in December 2024 we started Whiskey Library as an online shop for craft whiskey you would never find on your own.
In May 2025 we launched the Bourbon Mystery Box: members take a 90-second quiz, and every month we pick full-size bottles to their taste.
It quickly became the heart of what we do.
“Whiskey should be about discovery, not hype.”
What we look for
We don't chase labels or hype. We look for unique, interesting whiskey from people doing something different with it: blenders like Dark Arts and Barrell Craft Spirits, craft distilleries like Frey Ranch, and new takes on whiskey altogether. Great whiskey is great whiskey, wherever it was made.

How we buy
We go to the distilleries. We buy barrels ourselves, direct from craft distilleries and independent bottlers: single barrels and small blends. Both names go on the label, ours and theirs.
We also buy from their core ranges, because knowing a distillery's everyday bottle is what makes a one-off barrel from the same house mean something.
