Dream Spirits 10 Year Custom Blend Bourbon by Whiskey Library 750ml

The smell is French toast cooking, the taste is strong and rich. I find the finish to be a bit short, but very pleasant.

I am pretty new to the bourbon life, but to me this was a nice whiskey. I had a double on rocks, and it was not too bitter and stout up front. Goes down smooth and easy. Little lingering burn but for the proofing not bad at all.

Personally I like a bourbon with less burn and less caramel. This one felt like a sneak attack to the back of my throat. But the smell and taste were overall pretty good. Also, tasted it in an old fashioned after and still had a bit too much burn in the back end.

This one is powerful above all else. I recommend taking it with a splash of water to calm the heat a little which allows the sweet and spice to open up.

I was expecting a smoother blend of the flavors. A interesting taste at first but I did not taste the cinnamon and maybe the tanning was too strong coming thru? The after taste (finish) was not clean. I love the color and with some dark chocolate the bite would be better. But by it self, I would pass on this one
