Sagamore Spirit

Sagamore Spirit opened in Baltimore in spring 2017, funded by Under Armour founder Kevin Plank, to bring back Maryland rye.

Every bottle blends two rye mash bills, one high rye and one low rye. It is cut with limestone spring water from Sagamore Farm, a 530 acre horse farm 22 miles up Interstate 83. The flagship is proofed to 83 for that road. Two mash bills means rye spice and rye sweetness in the same pour, which is why Signature works neat and in a Manhattan. Cask Strength runs 111 to 114 proof.
