Peerless Bourbon

Peerless carries DSP-KY-50, the registration Henry Kraver held in 1889. His descendants Corky and Carson Taylor restarted the company and filled the first barrel on March 4, 2015, closing a 98 year gap. The first bourbon shipped in June 2019.

Peerless runs sweet mash. Every fermentation starts on fresh grain and fresh yeast with no backset from the last run, which demands far more cleaning but keeps the grain flavor clean. Barrels go in under 130 proof and come out at barrel proof, never chill filtered. What you pour is what the wood made.
