Lasso Motel

Devin Odell runs Dynasty Spirits out of Dallas and built Lasso Motel around the Belmont Hotel, a shuttered Dallas landmark he spent time in. The look is postwar Americana rather than the pre Prohibition nostalgia every other new brand reaches for.

Most brands launch one bottle and add to it slowly. Lasso Motel opened in September 2024 with thirteen expressions at once, aged four to eighteen years, spanning bourbon, rye and American whiskey plus finishes in French oak, sherry, rose, port, Tokaji, naranja, Cognac, Mizunara and Amburana. That range is the reason to shop it. Pick two finishes off the same base whiskey and the cask does all the talking.
