First West

First West is the everyday line from 15 STARS, the Kentucky blending house run by Rick and Ricky Johnson. It launched in August 2025 to put their blending on shelves nationally at sixty to eighty dollars.

The corn is the interesting part. The youngest whiskey in the Small Batch comes off the 15 STARS still, distilled from heirloom red, white and blue corn rather than commodity yellow. Toasted Oak rests components in toasted barrels for five weeks, then rebuilds the blend. Extra Aged runs eight and nine year Kentucky stock. Three bottles, three clear ideas, all near 100 proof.
