Fiddler

Fiddler comes from ASW Distillery, opened in Atlanta in 2011 by Jim Chasteen and Charlie Thompson. ASW buys mature bourbon from across the country and finishes it at home in Armour Yard.

The finishing wood is the point. For Fiddler Georgia Heartwood, ASW hand-harvests oak in Jackson County, Georgia, chars it in house and rests the bourbon on it. That is a local wood signature, and it reads as toasted spice and dry oak. The San Francisco World Spirits Competition gave Heartwood a gold in 2018.
