Eleven single barrels, picked by TJ at Neeley. Every box this month carries a bottle from one of them, drawn as your box is packed. Nobody chooses which, not you and not us. Some barrels gave up 72 bottles and some gave up 270, so some picks are far scarcer than others. Full odds for all eleven are further up this page.
One of TJ's Neeley single barrels, one more rare craft bourbon, the digital Field Guide To Whiskey, and a set of WL tasting glasses on us.

We work directly with craft distilleries to bring you barrels the big retailers never see.

Customer Reviews
I did not receive my 15 stars bottle nor did I receive the two glasses and my last box I had a damaged glass and I let that one slide, but I did not get one of my bottles of bourbon and I did not get my two glasses this go around!
Received Doc Holliday 8 year and Old Dominick this month.
Old Dom was good. I wouldn't call it great... but good. Nice smooth drink from nose to mouth to finish. Nothing exceptional, but a decent pour and for the $60... was reasonable-ish.
However, the Doc Holliday 8 year at $120... fell short. Pleasant nose and smooth mouth... the finish was just hot/pepper and way too spicy. In fact, is about the only thing I remember was the finish because it was so overpowering, hot, and unpleasant... and it was lower proof than the OldDom. Tbh I had suspected that the bottle would be greater than the sauce which was why I haven't purchased at the liquor store. At $120, and even in a "cool" bottle, it was not worth it to me. The DocHoll will just sit in the cabinet probably. May use it as a mixing bottle or save it for the unsuspecting.
Hopefully next month's selections will be better. If not, then I'll likely have to reconsider the cost of membership.
my first box had 5 bottles in it, i must say.. that 15 Start Three Ports was outstanding! There was only one i didn't care too much for (Couture Collection 10 year from World Whiskey Society). The others were great! In all i received Neeley Small Batch 5 year, Barrell Bourbon: Tale of two Islands, Couture Collection 10 year, 15 starts three ports, Breckenridge High Proof Blend.
I can't wait to receive my next shipment.
Received an old Dominick not the moonlight mayhem. Old dom is pretty hot being a cask strength. Will need to add a bit of water to temper that one. Doc Holliday is pretty good but I would not pay 120 for another bottle.
I received two bottles. Only opened one, the Dream Spirits 10 y/o is one of the worst I’ve ever received.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Whichever is left when your box is packed. Nobody picks it, not you and not us. That is the part people play for: two of the eleven are worth more on their own than the box costs. Full odds for all eleven are further up this page.
-
You still come out ahead. Every box holds $170 or more of bourbon against $149.99, and the eight standard barrels are the same pick TJ signed off on. They are the likeliest outcome, not the consolation prize.
-
No. The pick only ships inside the box. Buying whole barrels at the distillery is what makes bottles like these possible at all, and the box is what funds it. If you only want this month, take box one and cancel. Two taps, no fee.
-
Your box carries on as normal: two or three rare bottles, $170 or more guaranteed, free shipping. The Neeley barrel is this month's addition, not the membership. Skip, pause or cancel any time before the next billing date.
-
Tell us and we credit its full value to your next box. Nothing to send back, nothing to explain. That covers the Neeley bottle too.
-
Within 48 hours of ordering, and it usually lands three to five days later. Signature required on delivery. Shipping is free on this box and every one after.
