Old Soul Tintype Series #1 Captain Luke 7 Year Cask Strength Straight Bourbon 750ml

The first edition of Cathead Distillery's limited Tintype Series honors blues legend Captain Luke Mayer, whose tintype portrait graces the label, with proceeds supporting the Music Maker Foundation. This high-rye bourbon (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley) was distilled in Indiana, then aged seven years in the Mississippi heat at Cathead in Jackson before being bottled uncut and unfiltered at full cask strength. Expect toasted marshmallow and charred oak on the nose, rich caramel popcorn and rustic oak char on the palate, and a smoky-sweet finish of toasted marshmallow and caramelized sugar.
