Really unique 1st impression, with oaky malt on the front of my palate, which smooths and sweetens after a few drops of water. Interesting notes of fresh hay and “I just ate bitter chocolate” in the finish. This will be. Fun conversation piece at my next whiskey tasting. More American Single Malts please!
