Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2022 750ml is an iconic Cabernet Sauvignon–led Bolgheri red from the gravelly “sassicaia” soils above the Tuscan coast. The nose is pure and elegant: blackcurrant, wild blackberry, violet, cedar, and a hint of graphite and tobacco. On the palate it’s medium-to-full bodied and sculpted—ripe cassis and dark cherry framed by fine, silky tannins, cool acidity, and subtle oak spice. The finish is long, precise, and mineral-saline, echoing cedar, cocoa nib, and Mediterranean herbs. Born from Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta’s pioneering estate (first commercial vintage 1968), Sassicaia remains the benchmark Super Tuscan for terroir, craftsmanship, and age-worthy finesse.
