Hillrock’s Solera Aged Bourbon is already renowned for its layered character, created through a true solera system and sherry-cask finishing. This Whiskey Library private barrel takes it further: after Solera maturation, it was finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, adding rich notes of fig, walnut, and candied fruit over Hillrock’s caramel-maple core. Bottled at cask strength, 112.3 proof (56.15% ABV), this single-barrel release delivers pure, uncut flavor. Extremely limited — once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Caramel, vanilla, maple candy, dried fig, orange oils, toasted walnut, clove.

• Palate: Full-bodied and silky; brown sugar, toffee, roasted corn, raisin, PX sweetness (dates, sultanas), baking spice.
