Fósforo Ensamble Mezcal is a small-batch artisanal mezcal crafted in Puebla, Mexico, from a blend of wild Tepextate and cultivated Espadín agaves. Hand-harvested and roasted in underground stone ovens, the agave hearts are then crushed, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper stills under the guidance of Maestro Mezcalero Aarón Alva Sánchez. This ensamble showcases a balance of bold, earthy Tepextate character with the smooth, fruity qualities of Espadín. The nose reveals aromas of herbal smoke, green pepper, and citrus zest. On the palate, it’s rich and layered with minerality, spice, and a long, clean finish. A dynamic sipping mezcal with depth and terroir expression.
