On the palate it’s full-bodied and polished—cassis, red cherry, cocoa, and savory spice glide on fine, chalky tannins with lively acidity from limestone-rich soils. The finish is long and elegant, echoing tobacco leaf, vanilla, and a stony mineral thread. A classic Rioja Gran Reserva, it marries extended oak and bottle aging with Contino’s terroir-driven precision.
