New Louisville 8 Years Old Single Barrel - Laser Beam 750ml
About the Product: New Louisville Whiskey Company sources its bourbon from MGP's storied distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, then transfers those barrels to PCS Distilling's Louisville warehouse where heat-cycling and patient maturation do the rest of the work. This eight-year single barrel is designated "Laser Beam" — a barrel profile that speaks directly to what's in the glass, shaped by a custom char and toast specification that coaxes razor-sharp, precisely focused flavor from the wood. An extra year in the barrel over most of the lineup, and it shows — this one is locked in, dialed tight, and hits exactly where it's aimed.
About New Louisville Whiskey Company: New Louisville Whiskey Company is the premium single barrel label from PCS Distilling Company, the Louisville family operation founded by Keith Hazelbaker in 2016. Keith — a certified financial planner by trade — found himself personally invested in the mission of bringing carefully considered, small-batch spirits to Louisville after being approached for business advice by two craft distillers, and eventually purchased the business outright, quickly making it a family affair with sons Carson and Chase joining the team. By the end of 2019, Keith and his sons saw a new path forward by sourcing aged bourbon, adding special finishes, and producing whiskey products that reflected a more considered, quality-first approach. The New Louisville label was purpose-built as an exclusive private barrel collection, featuring bourbons earmarked in the warehouse and bottled at peak maturity. Heat-cycling at their Louisville facility — where controlled temperature variation drives the spirit deeper into the wood — is a signature part of how each barrel develops its character before release.
